About

About Australian Corporate Myotherapy

At Australian Corporate Myotherapy Fitzroy we are consumed with the task of stimulating a healthier better life for our clients through myotherapy and remedial massage.

We service the Fitzroy, Carlton, Collingwood, and Abbotsford area geographically, but our approach draws patients from all areas of Melbourne.

In a modern world where commercial gain is such a focus, poor posture and poor physical movement patterns have become the common cost of this new world order.

We need to invest time into our health through prevention, or we can pay the price for poor health through medicine, injury and illness.

Here at Australian Corporate Myotherapy Fitzroy we aim to achieve a sound posture through the balance of joint mobility and joint stability, so that we physically move efficiently. This will reduce exposure to injury and optimise performance in competition.

Established in 2008, we at Australian Corporate Myotherapy and Remedial Massage Fitzroy are hugely passionate about patient healthcare.  We are outcome focused and committed to being leaders in the field of preventative musculoskeletal health.

Based in Fitzroy within Mind & Body Gym, we work closely with the personal trainers to rehabilitate our clients to their full potential.

Our Philosophy

Our philosophy at Australian Corporate Myotherapy is that a good posture will lead to proper movement patterns therefore reducing the chance of an injury, restricted movement or pain.

This is done is by reducing pain at the site, improving mobility, then stabilising the affected joints with corrective and strengthening exercises.

Essentially a our treatment cycle can be broken down into three main phases:

•  Phase 1 – Assessment
•  Phase 2 – Treatment
•  Phase 3 – Reinforcement/Rehabilitation through exercise and stretching

Our aim is to empower you with the knowledge required to take control of your own health, in order to reduce the chances of re-injury.
